Pretty sweet case. I don't like the plastic front cover and not having a mobo tray, but some concessions must be made to keep the price down. I like the rounded edges as I am sick of looking like a war casualty after every time I work on my box. Would get my money if I needed a new case.
Sure beats my $3.00 Ebay special.

Pretty cool looking care there. It seems like it would be a dust magnet though. Oh well, fabric softner sheets make good ghetto filters.

Bought this same case-window@side fan but with third fan mounted on cross rail.Overheated badly(Duron 1G)Tried everything to get temp down,no go.Funky fan bracket just does not work no matter where you put it,and the step on rear panel makes it impossible to install am 80mm
rear fan in the conventional space.Bad design |

I've seen some similiar rear ducted fans. They just don't remove air from the case. I believe it's the same problem when you try and use a funneled adapter to mount 80mm fans ontop of a cpu. You can't overcome the pressure of the air hitting the plastic duct which is trying to direct the air flow. Fan just spins and doesn't really move much air. The only thing that might save this case is having the clean 80 mm fan blowing in outside air that is mounted on the side-window and the 80mm intake fan on the front of the case. These might give enough air to keep some air moving. I would imagine case temps on this will run on the warm side. Wouldn't be near the top of my list if it was going into a warm room, especially if you were going to populate it with some of the warmer AMD cpu's. |
