I've never spent over $60 for a case but I think it is time I do. That case looks bad ass.
Job well done fido.

Way too much money to spend for a good- looking poorly ventilated box. Sure 4 extra usb ports in front is nice but dont u already have like 4 on back plus 2 more on ur already cool MB? Dual intake fans? A waste when they have to push against hard drives ribbons and a vga card to carry out case heated air. One exhaust fan? Seems backwards to me. Where is the 1 or better yet blowholes? U need a cool case to hotrod ur system, not just a cool looking case. This case maker caters to those who like to waste money. Sure it would look cool to have a green neon glow inside with a biohazard sticker on the side, but not 160.00 before s/h and another PS. Check this...350 Watt ATX Power Supply, 4 Exposed 5.25" Bays, 2 Exposed 3.5" Bays, 4 Hidden 3.5" Bays
17" High x 18.75" Deep x 8" Wide
2 Exhaust Fans, 1 Front USB Connector
45.00
Runs quiet for me and keeps everything cool.

I like that you can detach the front bezel LEDs so u can pull out the mobo, but it was odd that they didnt use a similar mecanism for the front USB ports.

So if I wanna pull out the mobo tray, I'll have to disconnect the USB pins on the mobo, which are a major pain in the ass :/

just as hard or moreso as LEDs

i have the same case Sticking out Tongue

1.- The powersupply fan would be the other blowhole.
2.- Many people prefer more intake... specially through the filtered fans... why? cuz there will be more air pressure inside, keeping unwanted air/dirt coming in through other places.
3.- Yes, it's expensive. But so is a Ferrari. Why buy a ferrari when you can buy a honda civic?
4.- You don't have to mount the hard drives right behind the front intake fans. You can mount them beneath your floppy - just like a normal case.
5.- I DO like my harddrives right behind the front intake fans... HDs get warm. sometimes HOT. and heat has caused 2 drives to fail me before. So that nice, fresh air hitting my drives is something I want.

They both get you to your destination. Actually, the Civic is better. it can fit 2 more people.

You keep your opinion, we'll keep our's :p

Great article.

I have never seen one disassembled like that before. That is cool.
Also i did not know they had those filters infront of the fans. I like it!

Great article, Fido! I'm going with a new Lian-Li case within the next few weeks (not sure which model yet), and this was an informative aid for me Smile

Mex.......Maybe a cooler box would have saved ur hard drives...lol....surely not that overpriced beer can. No.... PS fan is just for the PS... thats it.
Filters clog so maintenance is required. I can get some AC filter and do the same job for alot less. Still not a reason to plunk down good money.

another nice case for only 56.00

I actually have this case stuffed with my dually Athlon XP system...all fans installed and I have to say it is the coldest case I have ever had and the noise is bearable...loud but bearable.

Great job on the review Fido...I looked at the Lian-Li cases, but just couldn't afford them.

I almost purchased that case, very great design, but I ultimatly chose this one:

It also came with three drive sleds that are capable of havings fans installed in each. I like the simplicity and effectiveness of it.

sniff' I miss this cupcake.
