I liked it. It borought up some really good items\topics. I agree with the article.

I was wondering what everyone thought to a solution. How do you guys\girls feel that the artists should get paid for their work. I know everyone complains about the price of cds and things like that but do you feel you would stop illegally downloading music and join a subscription service? Or is there a better solution? I feel guilty everytime I dowload a song, but I hate going out and spending $15-$20 on a cd where I am probably only going to like 2-3 songs. I have not bought a cd in 2 years until this last week where I bought 4. The reason why was because the price for each was $12 or less. That is the first time I had seen prices that low on brand new cds. (Sad thing was I only liked 2-3 songs on each cd)

This might be a little off topic but what do you all think.

I'd be happy to pay to download music if
a) it was FLAC-quality or better. I'm not paying for low-quality (at any bitrate) MP3s. Period.
b) I was not then inhibited from cutting a CD so I could play it somewhere other than my computer.

Would you like
good music at a price that is right? CD Baby, baby.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
--John Donne
