If you're still looking to buy some ECSK7S5A boards, some of the Epox boards are running about the same price. I found some 8K7A+ boards at $57, seem a bit more stable than the ECS boards, don't have onboard lan but has the Highpoint Raid controller, award BIOS. You might look around for some of the KT266 chipsets, they should be dropping in price.

Thank yee master beast, but I go dually shortly. And onboard lan is desperately needed. Only problem is "Shall I eat?" or "Shall I buy computer?" [Very Happy]

The MSI K7D Master L has a BIOS option to turn off the XP/MP cpu check, so that you can run two unmodified XP's as dual cpu setup. Nice, eh?

That is a nice little feature. Guess that answers the food or computer question.

You know, if you get too hungry, some nice lady will always take you home for a meal.Tongue Smile

Hell no! MPs would be way above my budget, but XPs are in reach. That's why I'm struggling between food or tech.

I could try the women-take-me-home thing, though. [icon26]

Hey Fido, where is *MY* icon?

Old box= Celery 566@1001 with Vanteck 6035 heatsink/fan on a Abit BH6.
Its just a fun old box, it looks like hell, but its been around for about 4 years old. Extremely reliable. Windows 98.

Forgot to add the Slocket III, it be pretty funny trying to plug a FC-PGA into a Slot 1. lol

Newer box= (2) PIII 700's@1003 with (2) Vanteck 6035's on a Abit VP6, at default voltage. It's my gaming machine, GeForce3 Ti 200 and (2) sticks Samsung PC150 512mb ECC. About a year old. Also extremely reliable. Windows 44.721359549995793928183473374626 squared. Smile

Thanks. This place is pretty neat. I've always liked messing around with hardware but I'm now starting to get interested in software and tweaks like the Windows 2000 start up pic change tweak thingy. That was fun.
Thanks again, I have much to learn about this place.
