well in the search for faster wu times....i decided to overclock....i have a 1200mhz tbird and i wanted a little more out of it....i got it up too 1333mhz with only a 2-3 degree change (farhienhiet) while crunching seti full blast
i dont think im happy with the cooling results i got earlier (see "shaved off 25 degrees") so i think im gonna upgrade the 2 32cfm antec fans i have to 50cfm sunon fans.....

I'm getting pretty good crunching times on with my 1.4 T-Bird...around 5hrs with the memory set to aggressive timings and CAS2. I think I'll wait until I can drop a 2GHz Tbred in this system.

I wonder what the max is on that 1.2 Tbird?
I'm about to buy the 1.33 and from what I've heard, 1.6 mhz is very attainable with that chip. I have a Duron 700 @ 875 and it only runs a consistent 43 celcius so I must be doing something right in the cooling dept.

If I bump the vcore up to the max (1.89), our 1.33 will hit 1.6 - but it gets really hot (need some case fans) - w f !!!

Depends on the stepping. You may get as high as 1.6GHz air cooled with an AHYJA T-bird. My 1.4 can get pretty close, 1.586GHz--although the RAM could be a part of it. The other good stepping is AXIA. I want to each 1 WU per hour, but I think I'll need an XP to achieve that.

They have the regular 1.33 Tbird on Newegg for 71.00. They also have the 1.33 AYHJA for 80.00. They both have free shipping by the way. Gee, I WONDER WHICH ONE I'LL GET?????
