i was actually wondering if it were possible to run multiple instances of SETI though,.it doesnt seem to use too much of a percentage of cpu time:?: Question

You know i accually downloaded site at home, and when i was going to install it this big form came up that i had to fill out.. i said that i'll fill it out later but then i never got around to doing it... I might have another look ..

SETI will run your processor at 99-100%, but the thread will drop in priority if you launch something else or you are using other apps. if you are using SETI driver, you can set it to low, med, or high priority. Setting it to high though BOGS you down big time!

If you are running NT or 2k, you can look at the utilization on it and see what it's taking.

then ill just let it run at night or when im not home i guess, im not going to be able to get the third machine running it,.i dont share my broadband with the other machines, and i dont feel like setting up a box as a proxy server,.oh well, 2 a day cant be bad
