I am having some serious problems running the new game Treadmarks 1.5. My laptop is a 700Mhz PentiumIII, 10Gig hard drive, 192Mb of memory and Rage Mobility video. My operating system is Windows ME and I have 83% resources free on my computer. The game crashes and will not load or run correctly. When it does run(after 4 or 5 restarts) it runs fine but will not close properly. Meaning it changes my desktop settings or causes a garbled screen. I have tried lowering my desktop resolution, complete uninstall and reinstall and even contacting the manufacturer of the game to no avail. Changing in game options can also cause the game to crash as well as loading certain maps. Not all in game options perform as they should (meaning they might cause the game to stop responding or cause a system crash. Strange as it may seem though I did not have this problem with the demo. THANKS !!!!

Running the very very latest video drivers? Reference drivers? I'm not very familiar with that game, but do you have the latest patch for the game? Just some thoughts since I'm not too "up on" that one...

Who makes your laptop? It sounds like somekinda software problem with your vid card.

Since it is a laptop, there is one thing I would check...make sure that all your cooling fans are working properly. I'm not up to speed on the newest mobile 3d cards, but i'm pretty sure that there are usually fans on them. Run some kinda diagnostic to double check that.

Thats all I can think of for now.
