Well, since my ol Radeon 8500 kicked the bucket and I couldn't get a new one, I settled for the Gainward GF3 Golden Sample. I'm probably gonna drop the memory clock a tad to get rid of the little artifacting I'm getting, but I've got it sitting at 255/585 right now.

2D is great for me. I'm gonna get a Samsung 17" flat-screen with my tax return money, since it's rather lame to be stuck at 1280x1024 max res., among other reasons...

Do you use any additional cooling on the card or in your case? I'm really not trying to push my card too far in terms of oc'ing it just cause I don't want to fry the poor thing.

I've got a full tower with a couple of 80mm fans at the very top, 1 80mm up front, and my Antec 350 PSU has a 92mm on the bottom near the CPU. I don't have any extra cooling on the card itself either. Just the stock stuff. I think I jacked my AGP drive strength to EA tho.
