I hate MIRs but this one is too attractive...
Also, I am in the market for super cheap 1 GB thumbs to buy in mass quantity, to give out to customers... |

I had one ages ago, but it wasn't 16GB. More like 3 or 4.
2 flaws, but all in all a good product. Esp at $16
#1 the cap/cover will get lost within the first 30 days of use
#2 the usb plug feels like it could pretty easily be snapped off or twisted off. It's in an all rubber case, and while the plug can wiggle, it feels like the rest of the actuall drive stays in place. Without cutting one open it feels like just the ribbon wire or something is what keeps the plug attached to the drive.
I prefer the rigid plastic and retractable usb plug of my San Disk Cruiser. |

In order to keep them as cheap as possible (under a $1??? for 500-1000), without. |

I have a 4gb one that I've been fairly pleased with.
I agree that it is easy to lose the cap (I haven't, but I'm very careful not to)
and while the drive is housed in a rubber mold, I don't feel any kind of movement or jiggling in it.
works well, had no real problems.. |

That's the one in my pocket right now. works great. moving LOTS of small files will suck the life out of you as with any usb drive, but large file transfers (what I mainly use it for) are nice and fast. |

I think I'll put one of these on my christmas list.
this thing is big enough for a couple usb linux builds and a portable wow installation. |

I have the 4gig version as well. Works just fine. Does the job. I still have my cap! If you want really fast, go with an OCZ Rally. |
