Ok, here is fun for network. W32time. Works like a charm. Been running and keeping time on all the servers. 3 years later KDC, NFS, logon failures, crop up and half the phones show incorrect time.


Confused

WTF, look at DC's find one DC and 1 call manager that has NISTime32 installed. WTGDF

Needless to say removal of said program didnt stop the issue. Hmmm regedit, well lookie here w32time is using NTD as the protocol, Confused Confused Change that, minute later server time is correct and slowly servers are once again happy.

Moral: Don't touch, dont install anything to handle something that is already working without communicating and tracking the change.
