I'm looking for software to do the following (and bear in mind if I can find it in the form of freeware/shareware/open source, that's ideal, but if I cannot, commercial software might be an idea, provided it's not terribly expensive):

  • Burn a DVD video that will play in any DVD player (specifically, the portable one in my wife's minivan)
  • Will take three different AVI (divx) files (roughly 1.5 to 2 hours each), and allow me to put all three as separate "chapters" on a DVD, accepting that it means sacrificing quality (audio and video) - note: this will be exclusively for watching on a 7" screen with headphones, so losing dolby digital and a bit of video quality is REALLY not a big deal
  • Will allow me to loop the DVD, so that if it keeps playing, after the 3rd "chapter" is complete, it will start over (Note: this is the least important requirement - if I cannot do this, not the end of the world)

Any ideas?

Thanks!

P.S. I'd prefer if the software would run under Windows, as my DVD burner is in my windows machine, and I'd rather not dual-boot it if I don't have to.

I'd be surprised if Nero couldn't do this.

I'm certain that there is some software that could help you out.
