I have the memory benchmark, but I'm at work, and didn't bring the numbers with me. Memory bandwidth is almost entirely independant of the processor. This is still a Via Apollo pro based motherboard, so the bandwidth should be pretty similar to most Apollo mobo's: Bad.
If I recall correctly the numbers were something like 480/420MB/s. If those seem completely wrong, then perhaps I don't recall correctly.
If the Iwill board had worked like it was supposed to, memory bandwidth would have been higher because it is based on the Apollo Pro266(DDR).
Right after I got the Tyan board I did some quick benchmarks testing the P3-700's with both DDR and SDR memory. The P3's really don't benefit from higher memory bandwidth because the front side bus becomes the limitation anyways. |

It's not your celery that is producing those numbers. Memory bandwidth is a product of your chipset, not you processor. What chipset does you motherboard use?? |

hello Dawgs,
Via is not the only choice for running dual-tualatins ! Serverworks got some fine chipsets for dual-tualatin-pimpinī
but boards are hard to get...compaq is using them in their proliant-servers...
www.serverworks.com
have a nice day...
