windows 2003 svr enterprise - not seeing all install ram

I've got 6 Gig of ram installed, the bios sees all the ram but windows does not. I've added the /3GB switch to the boot.ini file as listed above. Tried changing the placement of the /3GB switch & nothing changes the box only seems 3.5 gig.

Did you try the /pae option? Large memory support is available in Windows Server 2003 and in Windows 2000

I was hesitant to use the PAE switch as this server will be a SQL server.

After doing some intense Google searches I'm not sure which way to go

Wouldn't you be better with the 64bit version of the operating system?
