I use Norton Internet Security 2007 the thing is that Auto protect gets off from time to time. I keep getting a warning message, " Error: "Auto-Protect experienced an unexpected error..." with a link to a fix from Symantec but it fails to fix the problem. I have searched the Support site and tried to reconfiguring the settings..i tried to reinstall..i trid to update but this does not work either.

any idea?

remove norton and install avg? Razz

probably another bug they haven't fixed yet that causes the same error message that another problem, that they have fixed, caused.

Might wanna give symantec a ring or a live chat and see if they can help you out.

I know a bar fly who works worked for symantec. He couldn't get his tech support issues with symantec anti-virus resolved at all...

but he was bought up when the got veritas, and later fired... come to think of it I've not seen him for a while...

If you like Norton it doesn't make it a good security product.
