If I encrypt my files in Windows 2000 on another Drive, what do I have to do to access my files when I install Windows XP ?

Do I have to decrypt in Windows 2000 before I fresh install Windows XP ?

Just to be on the safe side I would recommend decrypting before upgrading the OS.

However, feel free to go ahead without decrypting first, and let us know how you get on.
