I get so sick and tired of College Football and Basketball rankings. It is always a what have you done for me lately type of thing.

Do the coaches and sports writers take into affect each teams entire season when they make their picks. Apparently not from my research.

I am by no means a Ohio St fan but I can't figure out the logic of dropping them down to #7 and basically having no chance of getting into the BCS championship. They always say you have to lose early.

Losing to Illinios is not a bad lose. Illinios beat Wisconsin when they were ranked #5. Illinios also beat Penn St when they were ranked. Two of Illinios loses came from teams that are ranked now. They lost to Missouri in a very close game and they lost to Michigan who is also ranked. There third loss was a high scoring baseball game.

LSU lost to a team that is no longer ranked and probably has no chance of being ranked at the end of the season. Oregon lost to a team that is no longer ranked and probably won't be ranked at the end of the season. Oklahoma lost to Colorado. Need I say more. West Virginia lost to South Florida whom everyone thought had a chance at the BCS. Where is South Florida now.

That leaves us with Missouri and Kansas. Kansas is undefeated and Missouri lost to Oklahoma. Even though Oklahoma beat Missouri, I still rank them higher because Oklahoma lost to a weaker team. I believe in strong losses. Missouri didn't get blown out in that game.

So shouldn't the rankings look more like this.

1. Kansas
2. Ohio St or Missouri
3. Missouri or Ohio St.
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma
6. Oregon
7. West Virginia.

I am a huge LSU fan. Have been since I wanted to Play baseball for them in College but ended up staying in WI. LSU is good but I don't think they deserve the #1 ranking.

Missouri and Kansas still have to play each other this year, plus there is the Big 12 Championship. If Kansas or Missouri wins out they should be in the BCS title Game.
