IBM releases Open Office based productivity suite called Symphony fer free...on Winders and Linux platforms. Sorry...no Mac support just yet... Wink SmileShocking SmileBig Smile

so have you actually used it?

is it, as I suspect, just IBM re-branding open office, so they can offer support for it, so an enterprise level commitment to it can be done, even though most enterprise level applications on desktops are supported in house any how, and the vendor is never contacted about problems with it, we just know that large corporations love giving money to IBM.


got's to love the IBM business model of late... give it away for free, but take money for support contracts, that are rarely used...
