Were did you get the Hasselblad, I had one in the Navy that I sold when I left Sad biggest mistake I ever made.......

There is a camera store here in my smallish city of less than 8 thousand people - situated on a corner...so...they called it 'The Camera Corner' .

Back when this blad was purchased it was called 'Garys Cameras'. What is it about photography stores???

The business(es) had/have a studio as part of the business. About four years ago(?) they went digital so they retired their two 500c/m's - I talked the owner into selling me one...with a 80mm lens, film back and a uhm...not a waist view finder but you still have to bend over it to look into it if that make sense (im really really tired at the moment, Im at work and I didnt get a nap today, and not much sleep lastnight). I got it all for $200 CDN!

I love that camera - if you and I ever meet I'm going to kick you in the butt for selling yours!!! I know how you feel - I felt the same way for selling my own Pentax K1000. I hated myself for decades after selling that Sad

When I was looking at the 2 systems, he basically let me cherry pick all the pieces - the body, film back, lens (both where 80mm), viewfinder, and focus screen. He and I both know the camera is worth more but to actually get more for it...might not happen.

Problem is, is getting film for it. I have no choice but to order it in as it appears that I might be the only one in this city using 120 film (as far as I know).

Body made in 1973, the lens 1972...both had been sent in to be worked on to get them in perfect working order so I shouldnt have any problems for quite some time.

I admit - that camera is a blast to use! But I have to use a hand held light meter.I also just purchased a flat bed scanner in order to scan the negs as the scans they give me are not of very good quality.
