Little Johnny was at the corner "Mom & Pop" grocery picking out a pretty good size box of laundry detergent.
The grocer walked over, and trying to be friendly, asked him if he had a lot of laundry to do.
"Oh, no laundry," Little Johnny said, "I'm going to wash my dog." "But you shouldn't use this to wash your dog.
It's very powerful and if you wash your dog in this, he'll get sick. In fact, it might even kill him."
But Little Johnny was not to be stopped and carried the detergent to the counter and paid for it, even while the grocer still tried to talk him out of washing his dog.
About a week later Little Johnny was back in the store to buy some candy.
The grocer asked him how his dog was doing.
"Oh, he died," Little Johnny said.
The grocer, trying not to be an I-told-you-so, said he was sorry the dog
died but added, "I tried to tell you not to use that detergent on your dog."
"Well," Little Johnny replied,
"I don't think it was the detergent that killed him."
"Oh? What was it then?" asked the grocer.
"I think it was the spin cycle!" said Little Johnny.

Little Johnny got on a bus and sat down next to a man. He noticed that the
man had a strange kind of
shirt collar, so he asked him, "Excuse me, sir, but why do you have your
shirt collar on backwards?" The man smiled kindly and answered, "I wear
this collar because I am a Father." Little Johnny thought a second and
responded, "Sir, I have a father, but he wears his collar the other way
around. Why do you wear your collar so differently?" The priest thought for
a minute, and said, "I am the Father for many." Little Johnny quickly
answered, "My father, too, is the father of many. He has four sons, four
daughters and many grandchildren. But he wears his collar like everyone
else does. Why do you wear yours backwards?"
The priest, flustered, said impatiently, "I am the Father for hundreds and
hundreds of people." Little Johnny sat silently for a long time. As he got
up to leave the bus, he leaned over to the priest and said, "Mister, maybe
you should wear your pants backwards."
