Does anyone here play? Besides JustAnEngineer, I mean... I know he plays because he is the reason I am hooked!
This is a huge game, I am finding. I'm at the very beginning, so it would be nice to find other people who are early in the game, too.

I play just not as often(been a busy few months) Ask JAE I'm actually part of his Guild.

As soon as things settle down(and I get a replacement 19inch Monitor) I'll be back on

Prices went up last night.

Guild Wars looks great on a wide-screen monitor.

Thats the display i have at work.. pretty nice display, good picture. I still prefer my cinema display. but it does it's job.

I have a guildwars account.. i play it VERY casually though. I've had the account for 6+ months now and I'm around level 7-8 last i checked.

Linda has gotten to be quite good at Guild Wars. Cool

For players who would like to join us, please PM me your In-Game Name and I will send you an invitation to the guild.

Anyone who has not yet purchased Guild Wars can find a package with all three chapters and the Game of The Year bonus pack at their local Sam's Club. It's a steal of a deal!

Remember that Guild Wars has no monthly fee. All that you need are the codes from the game purchase and an internet connection. You can play as little or as much as you like. Tackle 10 to 30-minute quests or missions at a time, or keep exploring to find thousands of hours of content. ArenaNet keeps adding more free content. The recent addition of hard mode with titles for guardian and vanquishing essentially doubled the PvE challenges. There are plenty of options for PvP, too.

Other than the time zone difference, there's nothing stopping international dogs from playing together. With close to 200 members in the alliance, there's usually someone on all of the time.

For my first ever online game, this was pretty easy to pick up and learn. The only reason I am doing well is because you get so much help from everybody in the guild. This is nothing like what I expected. I expected to be overwhelmed with tons of strangers and it isn't like that at all. It's loads of fun and I am now looking forward to the expansion coming out.

I'll pass the offer on to a friend who plays. He is a good man. Not me though, I'm all about EQ2.

Absent a Sam's Club here in the UK, just what would I be looking for? I can find Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall separately, and a "Platinum Pack" containing both Prophecies and the new Eye of the North expansion. I haven't yet found anything which has all four in one package.

Maybe an online computer retailer?I'd imagine any VAT's from Newegg would make it cost prohibitive.ive never heard of the Platinum Pack ,sounds like it could be worthwhile. The original Prophecies Game of the Year Edition here in the US sells for around 30 USD.Alternatively maybe you could get a trial code from someone and find a deal on GW's online store. If i can find a trial code amongst my copies I'd be happy to PM it to you.I'm unfamliar with any online retailers in the UK.
