Well, I let the upgrade thingy do its stuff, and apparently I'm now running 7.04.

Doesn't look any different to 6.10.

By far and away the best improvement is the proprietary software management, which makes the installation and configuration of graphics cards & wireless drivers a breeze...

Also, the updating process is now very smooth, and I encouraged no hitches upgrading from Edgy -> Feisty Beta -> Feisty.

I've done a clean install on my PC too, and everything works out of the box apart from 3d graphics. All I had to do to enable them, was go to Restricted Drivers Manager, check the ATI box, wait for the file to download and install and then reboot.

As for Toxin's comment, there are a couple of minor changes to artwork, but it's much the same as before, which is fine by me.
