Ok here's a question or something I'm trying to figure out. I would like to make my AppleTV share it's internet connection from wireless to the wired jack.
Basically i have other devices like Tivo and a Xbox 360. And i really don't feel like running cables to the hub in my entertainment center from my office. So is there a simple solution to have the AppleTV share it's internet connection to the hub without major hacks? Does anybody know the command line ways to configure internet sharing?
I'm trying to do something like this:
[ Internet ]
|
[ Switch ]
|
|------------------------------------|
[ Airport WDS Network ] [ Various Wired Macs and PCs ]
|
[ AppleTV ]
|
[ Crappy Hub ]
|
|---------------------|
[ Tivo ] [ Xbox 360 ]

I also found a couple of command line references, but it all references standard bsd tools. I also didn't find everything in one place.
Sorry I forgot about this. It's been a sucky week. |
