Hey,

Basically, i have a file that is getting output from a console program every few seconds. I'm trying to figure out a way to get php to detect the changes and read in the new 'screens', so they can be parsed in such a way i can update a gui... any ideas?

I don't get it. How do you execute PHP code without a webserver of some kind?

On the command line:

Code: Select all
$  php -q script.php
