In many unixes, there is a binary in /bin named [.
I can't seem to find any information about it. Does anyone know what its for? |

never mind, FreeBSD had a man page for it. Its analogous to /bin/test
[ hohlecow@munich ] ~
$> \[ -b /bin/ls \]
[ hohlecow@munich ] ~
$> echo $?
1
