I've been playing on 8.3.6.39:27015 that server. I get about a 50 ping. They play almost exclusively mod maps. So get used to D/Ling the maps for the first few days. Oh and if you try them get used to getting your ass handed to you on these maps. some are very pretty[/url] |

My clouds silver lining has been tarnished black . It still follows me around but makes outcomes a whole lot more grim.

I've been playing CS:S gungame on a few DFW servers. Interesting concept for CS. You have to get a kill with a weapon before moving up in weaponry. some servers have it set to change weapons automatically in a round others change each round. Knife kills are bonuses that advance you a weapon for each kill getting knifed takes you back a level |

The server was back up last month. If it goes down how about a PM saying, hey it's down, can you check it? instead of sitting around like a bunch of idiots.
This is the same shit that happened last time. Everyone plays for awhile then leaves. I'm dropping the domain from my hosting as I never got the license from edison to use LWD and i'm just wasting money letting it sit there. People bitch about the lack of mods, yet never suggest anything. People bitch that the server is down, yet never volunteer to help maintain it. You bitch about latency, for christs sake some of us played from across the fucking ocean with no problem, and you can't play from bumfuck idaho?
If you tell me you're going to play, then fine. Play. But don't tell me "yes, we're going to play on it" and then run over and start playing somewhere else all the time. If it doesn't get used it goes away. |

woah there Dypheron. If people can´t jump on because it´s down you can´t really blame them, you wrote last time if the server goes down don´t bitch about it. The server is your responsability last I saw. |

At ease, dogs.
Here is a suggestion that at least would help me a lot:
Set tymes. Having at least one scheduled game per week would help me a lot. Everything but wednesdays, that is.
I can drop in other tymes to... but having a tyme everybody KNOWS would be a good idea, methinks.
I care not about mods and stuff. I just want to get shot in the head, repeatedly.

Exactly why I've been holding off mentioning this.
I agree with Akely, I loged in once or twice before it went down and no one was in there. Nights and weekends are probably best for most people, depending on country.
As far as help needed, I'm sure if you asked, people would volunteer. I've never maintained a CS server but would be willing to learn. Let me know if you need a volunteer. |
