I got one too. Order was processed on Monday, and I got it on Tuesday morning with free shipping!
Not a bad screen. I also have no dead pixels and the screen is bright, though the colors are fairly washed out on it compared to my other screens and the calibration only helps a little.
All in all, if I get the rebates in a reasonable time, it's a great deal for $109. |

colors look pretty good on mine... sure beats the heck outta the monitor I replaced... that old thing needed a 2.3 gamma boost just to get to the point of being readable with lights on in the home. This LCD I can actually see... it's great for the price. |

For as little as $110, you can get an LCD monitor with DVI input.
Dell has been selling their 1680x1050 E207WFP for just over $200. |

That site says it has DVI...

I think what they meant was "analog/digital"
I have the HC194D running happily off of my DVI connector. It's worked great for about 3 months now. |

For the record, this is a pretty good screen. I've enjoyed it for the past few months. It's a steal at $99.
FYI, I did finally get both rebates last week. They tried to pull a fast one on my on the $100 rebate "claiming" that they did not get a receipt, even though I triple checked and had my wife check the envelop before I sent it in. They gave me one more chance to send it in and then they processed it. My guess is that they randomly do this to try and deny requests so that they can pocket the money. If they do it to enough people they can make quite a bit. They also run a "deal" where they will give you your rebate right away if you let them keep about half of it. Otherwise it takes 8-12 weeks AFTER they approve it, which takes about 3-4 weeks.
Anywho, if you can put up with the rebate hassles, it's a great deal. |
