Anyone currently playing this? I LOVE the realism, but here are my gripes...

Squads don't stay down after you leave active control of them. I will control the sniper, set him up in a great location, and leave him lying down. As soon as I change to another squad, he stands up!!! Now I don't know about other armies, but in the US army, a sniper is a crawling centipede, not a BRICK HOUSE!

Also, none of the squads reload! The sniper will use his six bullets, then revert to his side-arm rather than load a new mag!

If you save (not quick save) then want to go back to a previous save spot, you have to leave the mission, leave the campaign, then resume the campaign.

OK, I am done. The rest is GREAT! The A.I. is really good, and your team mates really make an effort NOT to be cannon fodder (other than sniper boy!)

I just got this tonight, so I haven't had a chance to really get into it. The graphics and sounds are so life-like. I will certainly note that save game issue. This is my first "military style" action shooter. I now just need to have some patience, instead of just running around in RTCW mp and going apesh*t.

WOW! Maybe some of you should go here ...
http://forums.ubisoft.com
before buying/trying the game!
(Go to the GR forum)

I guess my gripes are less than most!
Lots of sound card issues (almost all sc's have issues)
My Live! Sound Card pops frequently, like the bass is too high...except I have my entire volume is 2!!

Also, if you had problems with Max Payne because of its copy-right protection, GR has the same thing.

I still think it is great, but some levels are slower than molasses congealing, and I am running a geforce3, 256DDR, AMD1.4!
