Curious as to why no updates - last one August 12.

Haven't seen anything to indicate that there would be a 'delay' until the next one.

fathertyme taking a well deserved holiday? Stats broken? Cache needing cleaned? Stats now 'Top Secret - I could tell you but then I would have to kill your computer'?

<shrug>

Just curious.

point of interest,
a new entry into the top 100
TomMaxwell has already been displaced one spot back towards muff nuff notoriety, he'd better be picking up the pace.

some of all is revealed, at my favourite stats page

the team lost one spot, recently.
but not to worry, we'll overtake three teams, in roughly three years.

Actaully, what I was referring to was located on the LWD site, under Seti Team News.

TomMaxwell isn't doing his fair share?? Shocked

Boy - I'd be embarrassed to know I wasn't holding up my fair share Razz

I just looked forward to seeing the Team News on the LWD site and miss seeing updates.

As a matter of fact, I detached from Einstein@Home a few weeks ago, hoping to increase my SETI output 50%, but instead, it has shrunken by about 40%
RAC when SETI ran only 2/3 of the tyme was about 80, and now it's 57 Sad
Shouldn't it have gone UP to 120 Confused

P.S., QUAD Zurbo XEON shot past me a few weeks ago

I figured it was about time I loaded an enhanced client on my dual core system, and since my RAC increased noticably, I loaded an ehanced client on the laptop as well.

I believe my RAC went from 850ish, to 1135ish.

So,I'm doing my part!

Maybe next spring I can afford to build another dual core to replace the (Socket A) computer I built for work.

D'OH!

You know what? I just realized I started using a screensaver for the first time in about 5 years, a few weeks ago. But it only runs for a couple hours a day. Still, there should have been at least some production increase...I also doubled my DDR SDRAM. That makes me a Sad, drunken Panda

They should not be called screensavers anymore, btw, memory suckers is far more accurate.

AnyHoo, OnTopic:

FatherTyme has been doing the news over 4 years I believe.
Anytyme he takes a needed break is alright with me.

I'm more concerned about the 3 spots we'll be LOSING in the next 3 MONTHS!

ToMaxwell is actually doing good imho, top 100 on the team & inside the top 50 of ACTIVE members! Woof!

C'mon, let's get crunchin team! I actually plan on retiring one of my dual 800mhz Intel crunchers & replacing it w/an AMD XP2800+ spare not doin anything, just to boost the digits up some...since i just got passed by derek kennedy & got squito nippin at my heels I need to get busy! lmao!

For some reason when they made the last seti client update my numbers have been less than spectacular, I've even noticed a drop on my two AMD64 boxes. Are the optimized clients out now that much better ?

woof! woof!
