I have SP3 RC3 installed and none of my boot logos will load... I used the new NT kernal as well and I keep getting the error <system32>\ntoskrnl.exe cannot be found. I can boot in without the Kernal= entry in my boot.ini no problems. Anyone else with SP3 having the same problem or is it just my bad luck?
As the old forum on this topic is getting a little long in the tooth I thought this deserves a new thread. It looks like MS is at it again! |

I'm not too familiar with release candidate versions of Win2K but it sounds like you need to name your modded file ntoskrnl.exe and your backup something else - this should solve the problem. |

one of 2 things:
either the RC of SP3 has screwed something up accidentally (because it's not finished yet)
or M$ has been trying to extend the reach of the Fu><0r'ing that they included in SP2
temporary replacement signature . . . please stand by |
