SATA 3.0gb drives compatiable with SATA-150 motherboards?
I'm looking to expand my RAID setup on my older athlon 64 machine. |

From what i've read they are. They will run at the sata-150 speed or so the articles led me to belive. |

What I have seen said they were backwards comptable as well.
But no promises. |

The table on this page of the organisation responsible for SATA's website leads me to believe that the specification demands backwards compatibility. |
