Did your proplem begine after a change in your setup? Maybe go back and uninstall one by one what you installed recently. One of those proggies might be causing the trouble.
Also, it might just be MSN so maybe reinstall and see if your resourses stay high after that.
Something is eating up you resourses and man, that would bug the hell out of me if it happined here.
Hope you fix the problem soon...

Antony,
Try downloading and running the program TaskInfo 2000 from www.iarsn.com It will give you detailed specifics about what's running on your comp and what those progs are doing. Hope it helps! :pawa4:

Don't know if it'll help, but you could instead of formatting, try and install win98 right over top of itself. Has been known to fix the odd problem.

"..dooin my nut in.." That one escaped me for a couple of seconds, as I had not heard that term before. Then it hit me - "a kick in the balls" !!!! (I'm just an old fart and haven't kept up with modern language.)
Keep hanging around the LWD site and all information will belong to you!

Actually, 'nut' is limey slang for head, so it means it's "doing his head in", or causing him grief.

Hehe.. Very good info! But me thinks that a kick in the nut would also cause much grief!

how much memory does your Video card have? how many icons are on your desktop? 1.) Remove all the icons that you don't really need 2.) lower the Color depth to 16bit or less in the display properties 3.) Select NONE as your desktop wallpaper. Then reboot. See if that fixes your resources problem.
