ATI 9800 Pro Fan Replacement

The day has come. The fan on my ATI 9800 pro died. Id like to replace it with the same heatsink/fan combo that came with the card (changing just fan doesnt look like an option but then I really havent taken it apart to look around). Google has turned up nothing trying to find one.

Any suggestion or options?

ATI will replace yer card fer free if you registered it. I know my 9700 Pro has a 5 yr warranty on it....I've still got over 3 yrs left and I've already had them replace it 2 times already... Big Smile

I put an Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer on my Radeon 9800 and was then able to permanently overclock it to a Radeon 9800Pro. Cool

There are other options available, as well:

the fan is held down to the heatsink via 3 screws. I also have a 9800 pro AIW.

You say that like it's a good thing...

Are you saying the card has failed twice before getting half way through the warranty period? That's just an awful reliability record.

Seems its still under warranty. Recieved a RMA number this morning.
