|
Any dogs have one that they're willing to part out/with? A friend's threw its bearing. I just need the heat sink fan, so if it's a dead card, but the heat sink fan is still good, that'd be awesome. Only manufacturer site I could find didn't have them in stock for 10 wks.... |

Now you tell me... Is it still under warranty with Dell?
Maybe it could use some TLC to get it working again. Take it apart and clean it. Use a small drop of oil on the retaining ring and seal it back up. It might work again... |

You could always use one of these or one of these...
Someone used this Vantec cooler on their ATI 9000 video card... |

getting the vantec. Only question I have is on removing the old heat sink. Do i pull it straight off or twist? I believe it to be bound simply by old thermal paste. |

Note that there are at least three versions of that Vantec cooler-- Some that spin fast and make a really annoying loud noise, and some that spin slowly and don't cool worth diddly.

I like the design of the Evercool model that BZP linked better than the Vantec. |
