VMware has released a product called VMware Express that lets a linux machine load Windows 95 or Windows 98 in a virtual machine without shutting down linux. The price is $79 for download, and $99 for package. Don't know how it works: I just saw it at VMware's websiter after reading LWD's review of VMware.
