|
Simple question : Can i use the Mac keyboard(the new white keys/transparent-frame one) on a PC ? There's no ALT or CTRL, so... i dunno.
(i got the idea from farmboy's hypercube mod - http://www.bit-tech.net/article/155/17 - bottom of the page) |

Uh dude, there are ALT and CTRL buttons... and an "Option" one too. Oh and the panic button is there in case you need help (I shit you not, there's a button on every Mac kb that says "Help"). |

Crikey ! You serious ?! Cool...
But does it work on a PC ? That's the question. That keyboard + the new Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer would make a good combination. |

Yes, Windows will see it as a human interface device when plugged in and then recognize it as a MAC keyboard. walla! |

Hi all, google led me here.
Has anyone discovered a solid method to get the F13-F15 keys on a Mac KB to work as their window counterparts (PrintScr, SCR, Pause)? |

Yes... the new ones, and the aftermarket USB ones (like the knsington slim type)... actually I have found a pretty solid way now, so maybe it will help some one...
Applekeys2 for WinXP (Mirror)
I had tried it before posting, but wasn't getting any results. Now it seems to be working, not sure what the problem was.
Now if I could just find a way to program the media keys at the top of this Kensignton Board.
Thanks for the response. |

I did find this...
Quote:I found a solution: install Microsoft's IntelliType 4 software. Claim your keyboard is a Natural Keyboard Pro, & F13 is mapped to PrintScreen. The software/driver also doesn't interfere with the volume keys.
Maybe that will work... |
