When i download a boot logo and i put it in with reshacker it comes up in jumble, so i open the picture in mspaint and safe it as 16bit and then i makes it in like black and white and it is really ugly. Please help thanks.

Use IrfanView to reduce the colour depth to 16 colours. Do not save as 16-bit.

If your image is correct you will see 640 x 480 x 4bpp at the bottom-left of the IrfanView window.

Then save it as BMP. The final size will be 153,718 bytes. If it's anything else then go back and try again.
