A problem I have a lot is with the printer.
This happens on win 98 se mostly. Why
is it if you have a print go bad and you go
to the printers and cancel or delete a print
job it doesn’t delete till you restart most of
the time. If you wait long enough you may
be able to go in and delete it 3, 4, or more and
it finally may go away. You can’t use the printer
till you clear it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks Milt |

There's a routine which handles printing. Under Windows NT/2000/XP it's the Print Spooler service, and stopping/restarting it is usually sufficient to get rid of any rogue print jobs.
However, I'm afraid I don't know (actually, I've forgotten) how to accomplish the same thing under Windows 98. Sorry. |
