I'm impressed. Weisstein actually has the chutzpah to write that petulant little whine in language cleverly chosen to lend it something approaching gravitas. Doesn't make it true, though.

Or maybe he's in the employ of the hard disk manufacturers, with their blatantly fraudulent misrepresentation of the storage capacities of their products.

The units of measurement of computer storage are all based around powers of two, regardless of what morons like Weisstein would like to have us believe.
