I've never done this before, and was wondering if there was any good freeware for doing so that someone could suggest I use. I don't even know that it's worth it. I may just do a fresh install on the drive anyhow, but if I can find a semi-decent program, I'll try it out.

dd, the Linux program, is free. Smile

DriveImage, by PowerQuest, comes in a trial version, I believe. It's worth checking it out.

Ghost, by Symantec, may also come in a trial version, though I've never used it so that is merely conjecture.
