I would just like to make a small observation. BSD has been around alot longer than Linux. It seems like the BSD community is now making a big deal about there OS since Linux has become a mainstream Enterprise solution. It almost seems like they feel they were left out of the loop and need to defend its position in the market. That is just my opinion. |

Your opinion is very valid, I see evidence in the speed and frequency of updates to the 5.0 branch. It's almost like every other day I hop over to www.osnews.com and hear of a new RC release or final release (major/minor) from FreeBSD. |
