Ok, this is the last time I will go off topic...but BM, it doesnt really sound like you are getting a good deal on that package...in all honesty it doesnt even sound like a reseller package....just a beefed up basic account. The piece of the config that alerted me to this is the 5 addon domains - Meaning only 5 accounts can be hosted at the max.

You may want to check out 2MHost (*Note - Bandwith issues as well as uptime is a concern of Forum Members, just using this link as a reference)

There basic plan is 48$ a month (A savings of over 50% on a monthly basis....with more reselling capabilities)...additionally, if you were to pay on a yearly basis the cost would only be $288...definetly more power for better money than your currently spending (288$ for a year with 2MHost, or 1200 for a year with your current provider).

It seems as if this server is oc192 Its got awesome uptime, and awesome bandwidth. I think oc192 would have at least everything they provide you with on the other hosting.

Do you get amusment out of making fun of people younger than you? I see it as if a lot of people do in this forum

Well I had a nice big long respones to this slowly pointing out how you were being screwed over, and why I wouldn't trust your site farther then I could throw it.

Your site has some broken links. like 3/4 of them. (not inspiring confidence in your ablity to host websites if you have broken links right there out in the open.)

why the hell do broken links matter? www.ukdancerecords.com is down right now, people still buy vinyls from them even if they are offline and most of there listen links are broken

Why i would never use your company, in a couple easy sentences.

1. Lack of working links.
2. Too lazy to code your own website, instead using FREE templates, from
Studio Ossaba... dont even take teh time to get a premium one.

If your too lazy to make your own site, and not just use a template, i dont want to know how lazy you'd be when it comes to CS and complaints and other things.

2nd... im going to assume since you left a comment in the source code abotu said company, you didnt pay for the following

I use wbws.net for my hosting.. their site has not gone down in the 7 months i used them, and resaler accounts are about 1/2 the cost of the stuff your trying to sell.

Stop paying the guy, he's taking advantage of an impressionable 13 year old (ASFAIK: you not legally obliged to pay this person) you are likely of an age that you are negligible for your business commitments. If you signed a contract with this guy don't worry about it, cuz you can get out of it and dude can not sue your for default (cuz of your age).

They aren't selling webservers are they now? you are selling web space, your website sucks, how does that reflect back on you? I personally wouldn't buy from a company that had constantly broken links one or two here or there on a large site isn't bad but when your site is only 4 pages big and only one of them works there is a problem. Imagen for a moment that you were to purchase space from your self, and discover that you only got 1/4 of what you paid for. people expect a full site, they don't get one they go else where.

the record store maybe able to sell records with some broken links on there page (and down time is inevitable it happens to the best of us no matter how hard you try to avoid it) but they aren't advertising them selfs with broken records now are they?

You might not sell web sites, but as far as most people are concerned if you can't maintain a web site how are you suppose to maintain there web space? (cause html is easier to deal with then a complete server.)

My father used to get so pissed off at me for dressing like a slob, "CAUSE WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS HOUSE YOU REPRESENT THIS FAMILY!!" I ended lashing out and explain to him that I wasn't a part of a family I was an indivdual blah blah blah blah. But in reality if you look/act like a street urichin (which is about the comparision I would draw to your site) people expect that you are in that situation for a reason... (incompitent, lazy, ect.) and treat you with the respect that such a position deserves. (i.e. none)

But, it sucks when people start prodding at you, doesnt it.. Yet you seem to feel that doing it to others is no problem... and thats where your age comes into play. It has been stated many times before, but i dont care if you have the IQ of einstein himself; If you have not yet reached a maturity level where you can debate something without resorting to personal attacks, then you really shouldnt be posting, as it has a negative effect on those viewing the boards for the first time, and against the image you have created for yourself.

Alrighty, i3lackmagik132, if you want to be a reseller, you need to learn a little about how sales work.

If you make your pitch to someone, and they respond with criticism of your product, you can try and fix the problems they had, or drop it. If they don't like your product, arguing with them about id is just going to make them not like you, and your product.

Simply put, if changes were made, and suddenly your service meets their requirments, they may have purchased it from you, had you not argued about it so much.

The customer is always right. Ideally what you should have done, was taken the criticism's, and looked to see if you could improve your service somehow based on these.

Ah well, live and learn.

friday.

Now, as for the original question here, I've been a happy customer of Thinkhost for over three years with almost no problems (all of which were handled very quickly and quite satisfactorily).
