Hey guys, I have Windows 98, Red Hat Linux, and Debian all installed. I want to be able to multiboot all of them with GRUB, with which I am very unfamiliar. Heres the setup:

1. Windows 98 is on a 40GB main partition of the master drive.
2. Red Hat is on another 40GB secondary partition of the master drive.
3. Debian is on an 8GB partition of the secondary (slave) drive.

I had a boot disk for Debian, but I accidentally formatted it... Embarassed

So in order to boot Debian, I can see two solutions:

1. Make a new boot disk -or-
2. Multiboot it with GRUB

Or, I guess I could reinstall it or install FreeBSD (I was thinkin about the FreeBSD alternative, it sounds cool Very Happy ), so can anyone help me? What I'd really like to do is have it be able to boot via GRUB, but in order to do that, I need to look at files on the boot partition of the slave drive, which has a wierd (or unrecognized) file system, so I can't take a look with Knoppix (live from cd)...

HELP GUYS! I AS OF RIGHT NOW CANNOT BOOT MY DEBIAN OS!!

I will have to say that since we created the Unix forum. There seems to be alot of confusion on what forum to post in. Mostly by the newbies it seems like. Nut seems to post the Linux stuff in the Unix forum and the Unix and BSD stuff in the Linux forum.

Is it that hard to read the forum description before you post.
