My recycle bin keeps disappearing. I don't know why. I don't know where it's going. I go to move something into it (drag and drop) and the icon just sits on top of it. If I move the icon away, the recycle bin icon disappears. I go to Windows Explorer and Recycled isn't even listed. I reboot - it's back. I don't get it. I don't use the recylce bin very often (all hail shift+delete) but still, it's kinda weird. What's happening? I checked my "full" icon and it's there and fine. Even tried different ones. Where is it going? Hawaii? Does it not like me? Any ideas?

Stop looking at me like that.

Tough one. I would start by running REGCLEAN. You can find it here:
