Anyone else using VC++ 6.0 Pro get this message after doing a Windows Update? I don't know which one did it but I'm ready to point fingers at a certain nerd wearing glasses whose first name rhymes with Bill.
Quote:The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\AppPath\AcSpecfc.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. |

If only 20% of your staff is programmers, and you can save 50% on salary by outsourcing programmers to India, well, how much of a competitive advantage are you really going to get out of that 10% savings?

Like I said, don't know which one. I bought VC++ 7 (.Net) a while back but reverted to 6.0 because I disliked the changes they made in 7.0. They got rid of Class Wizard!!! I depended on that. |

The Class Wizard is for girls. I'd upgrade but if it wasn't for the price and the fact that everything I write must be able to be compiled on the university's unpatched buggy VC++ 6 machines. Tight bastards. |

Hehehe, yeah, so what if I wanna take a short cut? The sooner I get things done the sooner I move on to more fun projects and such. When projects start to grow really big, I need all the help organizing it I can get. Remember, I'm the sole programmer where I work. |
