Greetings,

I'm using Powerpoint 97 with WIN NT 4.0 and need to chart a graph using the Powerpoint graph function.

The x-axis is divided horizontally into: - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 tick values.

The y-axis is divided vertically into: - 0, 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, 2400 tick values.

The (x,y) coordinate points I've been given to plot are on the order of: - (1.35,2250) (1.4,2025) (1.9,1688), etc. In other words, the plots fall between the x- and y-axis tick values. Lastly, I'm supposed to construct a smooth, accurate curve connecting these plot points.

How can I create an accurate graph in such a situation? I'd hate to have to construct such a graph manually.

Never used PowerPoint. It scares me. :-D

Excel can do graphs. Is there a way to do the graph in Excel and import it with PowerPoint?
