Some cool and unusual cases there. And that file server was on like H a couple of weeks ago. I think it was something like ~2 terabites. |

You can do it in 2 or 4 drives now.
Seeing as there are 250gb and 300gb drives available now.
You could slap in 2 of those on the normal IDE channel and not worry about performance or reliability, or you could Stripe them and get some speed out of them, or you could do what I would do and do a RAID 0+1 Mirror with 4 drives so you would not only have reliability but added performance.
I have a nice little RAID 0+1 Array on my server using 4 120gb drives. |

i count more than that. note there is two mounted on the top of the case and another three mounted where the power supply normally goes. |
