HI !
i made one end of the cable straight and the other end crossover and put connectors over it using crimpler. But when i insert straight end, my lancard light is ON and when i insert the other end of the cable (crossver end) into the lan card..light os OFF ??
Don't know what's wrong.

Are both computers on? (JK)
Looks like you could have made a tiny mistake making the plugs. Thats what happens to me all the time. A wire crossed(or un-crossed) can cause cheaper and less sophisticated cards to function improperly while better cards can work around it. |
