Okay here goes. I got a Visiontek Geforce2MX 400 64Mb as a gift. I went to Compusa to return or exchange it and saw the Guillemot KYROII 64Mb on sale for the same price. The Geforce2 MX400 is clocked 200/175 and the KYROII is clocked at 175/175 beyond that I don't read the box for info because it is all hype anyway.
I have looked everywhere for reviews of the geforce2 MX 400 but haven't found any.
Which one is better? Any links or opinions would be appreciated. |

You don't want to know. I should have left everything alone. It started here
http://www.littlewhitedog.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1441&FORUM_ID=6&CAT_ID=4&Topic_Title=win2k+problem&Forum_Title=OS+%2D+Microsoft
I repaired the error and reloaded the drivers and upon rebooting a second time the error returns.
again i fix the problem and it does it AGAIN.
scan disk shows errors on the harddrive.
How do ya remove a Linux partition by the way?
so here sits the computer silent til i decide to fight with it.
In the mean time i started to build another dual system and the CPU fans won't run. I think that motherboard is f_cked up and maybe the CPUs(two of them)are too.
Could be a long time before sh_t gets straightened out.

WOW - those KYRO II cards must really suck bad, to do that much damage to a system <jk> - hope you get everything worked out.
