Ok dude now thatsit's runnin let us know how it works!!!!! I really need a video upgrade and don't want to spend $300 for an ultra!!!! If the KyroII is good I will buy, then do a G3 in 6 months when their $200 or so.... My poor Voodoo3 3000 is good but frame rates suffer when I play UT online.. :plasmewhore:

Voodoo3 3000 AGP (can't find oc utility and mine is corrupt)Just installed the Omega 1.02 drivers last nite. Seems worse.

I'm not sure how to do a FPS test in UT, I only see what I see and it is not that great.
My connection to the net with Sprint BB is fast and ping to favorite game server is around 110 and spikes a little(upwards to 150) but not bad. I sit and watch it when I die and it looks stable for the most part. It's when I get around players that it really gets bad. More action I guess. Not sure, card or connection?

1024x768 thats what Desktop is set at also. 800x600 in game doesn't use full screen.

Voodoo3 2K driver ver 1.03
I was at compusa today and almost bought the Visiontec GF3!!!!! $400.00.. Then I slaped myself and came home with a D-Link DSS-8+ 8 port switch..$79.00!! HEHEHE
I was eyeballin the KyroII for $149.00 also.. But I haven't heard anything from random1 yet.. [Hint- Hint]
I also bought Counter Strike so now I can play when the rest of you do....

Okay, this is the first chance i have had to play with it. All i can do is compare it to what i have.
I have tried it with unreal at 1024x768 32bit and it rocks. If i knew how to run a FPS test in unreal tournament i would.
It came with Myst3 and that looks nice but my Radeon looks better(picture quality) at least to me it does.
The only complaint i have is it does not have video out.[ ]

Well I won a GF2 GTS 64megs DDR on ebay yesterday. So The kyroII is out for now.
I just couldn't help myself!!! Got it for $129.00 + $12.00 s/h and $10.00 more for TV out.
I also have aquired a 9.1 IBM SCSI LVD drive so now I can do SCSI raid on my Netfinity 3SI Raid card.
Also an 18 gig WD SCSI LVD with 4 megs cache..
Just recieved the adapters for 80 to 68 pin today.. Now I just need to put the shit together...
Bought a 10/100 D-link switch sunday to replace the 10/100 Hub also..
Hookin up my wife with my old PIII 550 @733 so I can run Seti on hers too... WEEEEEEEEE things are lookin up!!!!
A friend just bought a HP last weekend and already jacked things up a bit so I am gonna go fix and the payment will be  You guessed it... He's gonna run Seti for me...

Recieved the GF2 yesterday.. Used detenator 12.41
Ran Ut and had to use D3D.. OpenGl errored out.. Guess I need to find it... Never used OGL for anything I play..
So far it does a better job playin UT online.. Just need to do some TWEEKIN
Mouse was actin kinna weird in game after install of the GF2.. Need to address that too... Need an OC utility for it also:?: Guess I should have been better prepared for it's arrival... HEHEHE

Read last nite that OGL is not supported in W2K.. Humm I didn't know that..
I have the card OC'd 210/375
Being a little cautious.. Soon as I put the blu orb and some ram sinks on I will go higher...
I ran 3Dmark 2001 and got a score of 1806.
Did some checking and ended up with 2909.
When I restart again I will go into bios and do some more TWEEKING to try to squeeze out more!!!!
