Ok, new code should make this muuuuuch easier, of course it took me like 12 hours of playing w/ numbers to make it so easy... but them's the breaks, eh?
Note: still playing w/ numbers.. must get sleep.. have class in 7hrs[ ]
We're closing in on the teams above us, ETA 36 hours (roughly) to pass 3 teams.
(Data Comparison to monday morning's stats.)
We have 82 members, of which 26 were active ( 31.71% )
Total Production: 108 WU's ( 814.99 pts)
Top Producers:
1st bathomps with 154.6 pts
2nd BamZipPow with 94.01 pts
3rd Medic99 with 71.77 pts
4th JustAnEngineer with 54.08 pts
5th Kligenthal with 45.3 pts
(I was amazed at how complex the formula was to get it to pick the names out of the entire team for who was the 3rd highest producer for the day)
Movers:
anub_s moved up 1 slot
CaptMorgan moved up 1 slot
HeatMizr66 moved up 1 slot
Medic99 moved up 1 slot
Stanely moved up 1 slot
Ok, I know it's a bit cheesy at the moment, but It's doing lots of these calculations based on nifty new formulas I wrote (Thanks TOMaxwell for the ideas)
I'm gonna spend some more time figureing out how to have it show exactly who you passed, it should already tell the difference between someone who moved up more than one slot, but no one did today, so we'll see how it does:-D

no problem BZP, i'm having fun in a crackhead sort of way...
I figured out the part i was stumped on, now it can tell who you passed (limit 1, if you pass more than 1 person, it'll simply say you passed "x" number of people...
This is one of my faves so far:
=INDEX(C95:C914,MATCH(LARGE(G95:G914,1),G95:G914,0))
that picks the top producer's name out of the team list:-D fun fun fun!!
I've even streamlined the code a little already...

Woohoo! That's the first time that I have been in the top list for a long time.
The rest of you must be slacking off, as I still have only two PCs. (Or maybe Toast's nifty new formulas and macros need more tweaking? ) |

Thanks Toast!
Keep that up and we'll get used to getting stats everyday.
Except, I think I moved 2 spots, not 1. I know this morning, I've moved up 1 more, but I thought I went from 25 to 23 yesterday...
Maybe I"m wrong...

NO NO NO.....I will PASS because I can...not because you let me. I am currently reviewing some tweaks to folding faster but all reviews keep refering to this button on the side of my case with the letter " Z" on it. Anyone have an idea what it does????? The disclaimer sticker on the back of the case say's "NEVER, EVER, press the "Z" button. |

I'd love to help ya cut that processing time down to less than 5 minutes. If ya want, just send me your Excel spreadsheet...I did a similar comparison with data from yesterday at 7:00 p.m. EST and today, 10:30 a.m. EST. The results are different, but the whole process only took a couple minutes, and I got all the same type of stats.
*No offense here*, but you're probably doing what many programmers do, making it more complex than it needs to be. |

Well, most of this took me so much tyme because i had to learn how to use most of the commands i wanted, and in some cases I had to learn if/that there was a command i could use.
At this point, it's a 2 step cut and paste manuever, and a sort by name and it'll have all my numbers figured out for me.
So at it's current level of technology, it's about a 5 min thing to put up the stats.
I may do a mid-day stat check just to try it out...

Short of resorting to extreme measures, what is the relative benefit of running with or without the -advmethods switch? |
